Then the following day, the wife was resting in the room past noon with the do not disturb tag out. From there I proceeded straight to our 9th floor room and to my surprise someone from housekeeping was knocking on the door as I approached, with a sack full of additional shampoo, soap and lotion.

First, I stopped at the front desk around midnight of our first night to request additional shampoo as there were three of us in the room.

Furthermore, we had two very positive encounters with housekeeping. Everything was in good condition and working order. Our room was as clean and well kept as at any other hotel we’ve stayed at. But I rated them 5 stars based on our satisfaction and the overall condition and service encountered at the property. This is not a luxury 5 star hotel, nor do I think they advertise themselves as such, and we knew that going in.
